About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supplier partnerships, inventory management, and international logistics.

This senior role plays a critical part in supporting our operational and strategic objectives through cost‑effective, efficient, and sustainable procurement practices. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and externally, managing everything from vendor performance to international freight and fleet management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor management including identifying opportunities, building strong relationships with suppliers and effectively managing vendor communications
  • Lead procurement activities across all NZ sites, ensuring consistent purchasing terms
  • Support NZ and US sites to maintain optimum inventory levels without impacting production
  • Manage all international freight and logistics activities (imports and exports)
  • Negotiate pricing for major contract items in line with margin expectations
  • Provide pricing support to Sales and Project teams for estimates and tenders
  • Fleet management

What we’re looking for

  • Proven procurement experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Sound understanding of inventory management and financial controls
  • Ability to learn (or experience in) managing international freight, customs, and logistics
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Leadership experience with the ability to influence across teams
